Reading 2/25/2008: Section 2.12

This was a pretty straightforward extension of the material from the previous chapter. Allow the wavevector to be complex, and - boom - you've got new solutions. It's definitely cool to see that they must decay exponentially as you move deeper in the material, but the rest was pretty intuitive and straightforward. No real questions that I can think of, as the rest was really algebra.
